Fashion Police Strike Again

Those prudish folks at Southwest Airlines have struck again. This time they made Joe Winiecki turn his t-shirt (pictured above) inside out. This is the same airline that apologized recently for giving Hooters waitress Kayla Ebbers a hard time for wearing an outfit that left very little of her anatomy to the imagination. Is it offensive? Maybe to some people. Frankly, I wouldn't be thrilled to see him galumping toward the seat next to me in a shirt like that. But I'm not thrilled to sit next to a lot of people in airplanes, including poorly behaved children and their parents, guys who hog the arm rest, and especially people who emit various odors from their bodies or the food they bring onboard.

Flying is a often a crowded, unpleasant and tiresome business. If you're gonna fly, you just have to suck it up and accept the fact that not everyone shares your tender sensibilities. It's the price of being in the public realm. Airlines need to concern themselves with making flights as safe and comfortable as possible and not worry about how people are dressed.

Okay, I'm realllly slow. I puzzled over that shirt for five minutes before I finally realized the problem...and that was only after I read the damned thing out loud. So the airlines need to get a life.

While the shirt is tacky, it's not as bad as a lot of ones I've seen out there.

Silly airlines...

All it takes is one person to say it offends them, then it must be taken care of. We need people in charge that have balls and will stand up and say, if it offends you, don't look at it. Personally, they're constant nitpicking offends me.

It's amazing isn't it, that some prudish, easily offended someone took one look at those two words and immediatly thought of masterbation. Makes you wonder just where they're mind is.

With all the things airlines could be focusing on to make air travel safer, less costly and more enjoyable, they focus on stuff like this????

Things that make you go "Duh?"

That shirt isn't bad at all.
Not compared to some I've seen.
They wasted everyone's time bothering with that.

I agree, they should concentrate on fixing the delays, update the air traffic control computers and focus on food allergy awarenss for passengers.
I have to throw that last one in there because ignorance of that can be life threatening in such tight and enclosed spaces.

T-shirts are stupid compared to life issues.
