Yoga, Pull-ups and Orgasms

You might be surprised by what the three have in common
By Erin Aislinn

Being a woman and a member of a statistical minority means you’re either very special or have a tough road ahead. According to Dr. Elisabeth A. Lloyd, author of the book The Case of the Female Orgasm: Bias in the Science of Evolution, 30 percent of women rarely or never have orgasm in intercourse, and among those, 10 percent say they never have orgasm under any circumstances.
In my early 20s, after a few years of indulging in my newly discovered sex life, I considered it might be best if I just accepted the fact that I was one of those 10 percent. I mean if I couldn’t climax with a lover who’d turned sex into an art form and applied every trick in his vast bag of experience to make it happen for me, then under what miraculous circumstances could I ever have the Big O?

What a great article!

Since I am man-less, and have been for quite some time, and I have no understanding of sex toys - I think I will learn Yoga . . .
Thanks for a well written, informative article.

I'm SURE I'll want sex when I'm seventy, but until then, I don't even want to think about older people doing it. I have a 78 year old client who tells me about her and her fiance and I really have a hard time not gagging. (Who would want to take care of a man when you're nearly eighty is beyond me.) Betsy, if you don't have a toy by then I'll by you one.

yoga?!...could it be the answer?

I'm a 41 year old woman and althow i enjoy having sex with my housband, i'm disapointed for the fact that i've NEVER had an orgasm. I hear that for many women it just comes natural , but sadly it isn't my case.

Althow i know many women have the same problem, and my comment is of no surpise to anyone, i want to do my best and find a solution.

I've been thinking that maybe my housband isn't as tender and loveable as he should, but curiosity has never pushed me so far as to cheat on him with another man. Should i? Could change be a solution?

I've tried all sorts of pills and aphrodisiacs, but nothing so far...

If you have any advise, please reply to this comment. I've just started posting for a couple of days, so i'll be checking in often :)

Thank you!

Potenta, it sounds like you need some Ellora's Cave books and a good vibrator. Don't cheat on your husband! Just learn to take responsibility for and control of your own sexual pleasure. Once you do that, you might be surprised at how your relationship heats up. How can your husband know how to please you if you don't know how to please yourself?
I suggest going to and reading through the blurbs on the books there until you find one that turns you on. Buy and read it and you'll probably have a spontaneous orgasm just reading a good sex passage. Also, go to and order yourself one of her wonderful ergonomic vibrators. Use it while you're reading one of our books or watching one of Candida Royalle's erotic films made for women and couples. Find out what turns you on. If you have an open relationship with your husband, watch a film with him. Consider this a voyage of self-discovery.
