Bad News for Dogs

Talk about a gay-friendly city! The Telegraph reported that Amsterdam has legalized gay sex in its popular Vondelpark--with a few rules: Sexual activity can take place only after dark and not near children's playgrounds, and condoms must be disposed of properly. A city alderman explained laws against public sex were impossible to enforce anyway and that the new law would also protect gays from violent attacks. The city apparently wants to make sure they have a good time and to protect them from having the fun spoiled by kneeling in doggie doo: The law also calls for fines for dog owners who allow their dogs to run unleashed in the park.

Well, if it had been April the first, I'd have thought this was an April Fool's Day joke! How do parents explain to their kids why they can't go into that park after dusk!

Lol, Flick! I guess it's easier to make up a reason to tell the kids why they can't go into the park after dark than it is to explain what those people are doing in the bushes. Interestingly, the original article said that the park's rose garden has been a favorite trysting spot for a long time. You've got to wonder why they'd want to have sex in a place filled with thorns. Ouch!

hee hee. If only our weather were warm enough to get up to mischief outdoors. Though dogging and piking developed here and doesn't seem to have taken off elsewhere. Heard of that? Having sex in your cars and letting others watch - if your lights are on - or letting others join in. Don't know what the sign is for that.(Phew, I think I got away with that) The police go round to isolated car parks to try and catch people. I put that in my first sub to EC but had to take it out. I think my disdain shone through!

Dogging and Piking, eh? I had no idea. Two questions: Where do you live and just what did you get away with?
