Man vs. Machine

Does love mean having to say goodbye to your vibrator?

Some women believe they must pack up their treasured toys when they finally find “The One” or even “The One for Now.” They polish and kiss their shiny bullet adieu, tenderly wrap their Jack Rabbit in tissue paper so its ear won’t bend, and wipe away a tear as they carry the box to the attic. Though they’re happy that those lonely nights are over, they nonetheless know deep inside that no man can gyrate, buzz, or expand and contract like their favorite toy.

On the other hand, no vibrator can love you or give you a kiss each morning when you wake and every night before you go to sleep. So if you have to choose between man and machine, chances are good that you’ll take out those batteries and store them for use in a more practical device.

But why choose? The best of all possible worlds is getting your new love to share you with your old faithful—the one that was always there for you, the one that never made demands, the one that made you scream in surprise the first time one orgasm converged into another, and another and another. Why not have it all—or at least try to?

Really?

In my experience, men LOVE sex toys.

Real men love sex toys even more.

Yep, me too. Sometimes I wonder if he would rather play with the toys...?

You two better watch out. Doreen's gonna come after your men if you're not careful.

I have to agree. I think men love toys as long as they're not being replaced by one.

yup... I'm with everyone else here. In my expereince the guys love the toys, think it's incredibly sexy, and often want to play with them too.
My current partner got a little miffy with the fact that I'd had them and 'played' with other men before him, but we just got fresh new exciting replacements to take care of that problem! :)

So far, it's unanimous that men love sex toys. I wonder if age enters into it. Are younger men more likely to be intrigued and experienced with them rather than threatened by them?

Maybe one of you should ask a man. I thought it was a serious article on whether women prefer a real man that does something with his "hands" (creates something significant) or whether they just want another "playboy of the western world" mentality - sorry for dropping in...

Hi Michael: We always welcome drop-ins and we love hearing from men. Sorry if our title took you by surprise though the subhead was meant to give fair warning. So how about it? Want to weigh in?

I don't blame women for "keeping" the equipment; no one man will ever satisfy some women. We men have it easier in the department of "M" - especially those of us used to "manual labor". Having remained single far too long for career reasons, I'm only too glad I was a serious pianist (no quotes!)(truely!) and had something serious to keep my hands busy.- - and still do.
It's sad that most classy women won't give us "poorer boys" more than a glance.
The best men are not always found with the money!
