Reporting From Muscle Beach

Sometimes my job is so hard! Take yesterday, our nation's day of independence. Everyone celebrating and poor me on the job, slaving over the hot bodies at a Muscle Beach bodybuilding exhibition. I had to elbow my way through throngs of panting women to get a few shots for our dear readers. While in Los Angeles, we met with an actor and former body builder who shall remain unnamed. He told us it is not true that steroids used by bodybuilders reduce the size of certain, ahem, parts of the anatomy. Of course, I don't know if these fellow use such steroids, but if they do, you can judge for yourself the effect on said anatomical bits.

The last two pictures are shots of the house and the beautiful Venice canal where it sits, a mere 5-minute walk from Muscle Beach. Don't you think the company should buy it for me so I can keep you fully informed of events there?

I love muscle! I admire the discipline and self-control it takes to build. But am I the only one that thinks they tan way too much? My first impression is chewing beef jerky instead of licking beefcake...

Oh, and ps - the notch in my bodybuilders belt has grown to five. I can safely say steroids do not shrink feet. (Not that anyone has admitted to the use)

However, compare a certain part of the anatomy to a thigh muscle that looks like a tree trunk, and I can understand where that shrunken theory came from.

That looks really tough. Maybe you need some help. LOL

That's what he said, Rena! That the rumor got started because the anatomical bits in question just look smaller when the muscles are bigger. Five, eh? Goodness, girl, you are workin' it. ;-)

OOh, it's such a thin line between - he's hot and he's not. Too much muscle and I'm turned off big time. I find it a bit threatening. It must be so time consuming to maintain that level of physique. I remember at RT in Orlando, I went to gym early in the morning and one of the EC guys was in there exercising. You have to work at being beautiful.
I've given in!!

Lol! Definitely more beef jerky than beefcake. Most of those guys looked orange to me, Rena, with cheesy fake tanner. But the guy with the scary nipples was actually being spray painted with a sort of silvery bronze paint. Oh and feet? I was thinking it made their heads look smaller!

Amber, I definitely need help next time. I had to bribe a crowd of gawking women to let me through with lollipop condoms.

I'm with you about the fine line, Barbara. I find overbuilt men more unattractive than scary--unless I meet them alone in a dark alley--and extreme.

I agree with Rena, some of them tan waaaaaay too much.

Did I mention five in one night? And does anyone think I blur fantasy with reality?

Lady Jaided said...

Ha! Rena, one expects an erotic romance novelist to have a rich fantasy life--and maybe at least an R-rated life!

Lady Jaided, I just started the notch belt.

That was five...in one night. HA!

Darlin', that is gonna be one notched-up belt!
