Enchanting Santas

We give a lot of attention to muscle boys most of the year. But at Christmas, it’s good to remember that men with money can be attractive too. Especially if they like to spend it on you. So in keeping with the spirit of the season, let’s hear it for men bearing gifts!
To see more gift-enhanced hunks, check out December's Man Candy in Lady Jaided ezine.

How I would love a man bearing the RIGHT gifts. After receiving supermarket vouchers two years on the trot, then a hammer drill, and once a vacuum cleaner, I've taken to buying things for myself and hiding them in the bottom of his wardrobe. If I wrap them early enough, I forget what I bought and it's a surprise on Christmas Day.
Last year, I bought him a night scope thing to look at wildlife in the back yard. I thought I was so clever and he took it back. This year he's getting Black Belt Soduku. With a bit of luck he won't emerge until spring.

Gift-giving is such a landmine, isn't it? Some people are really good at it, but most seem mystified. I have a friend who always tells her husband exactly what to get her and where to buy it. That way she gets what she wants and he is so relieved not to have to second-guess her. I have to confess, though, that one of my favorite all-time gifts from a man was a tool kit with hammer, wrenches and a lovely array of screwdrivers.

Pink, huh? Sounds like he got you some Tomboy Tools, which come in pink. I just bought myself some lovely pink Tomboy Tool clippers. I am a bit of a fool for tools, but I admit if I had a husband, I would prefer that he be the one wielding the tools--unless he preferred cooking and cleaning. Then I'd be happy to fix stuff. Girl, sounds like you're smart to buy your own gifts. I do hope you at least charge them to his credit card!
